Obituary of Wilda Turvey

Wilda Louise Turvey, 80, passed away January 17, 2010. Mrs. Turvey was a member of the Eastern Star and an avid reader. She enjoyed collecting collectables and doing needle point art. She was an "angel on Earth" as she unconditionally gave to those in need. Mrs. Turvey was a fantastic and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Survivors include her son, William Tippett; granddaughters Kari L. Tippett and Jenifer L. Tippett; sister, Betty Lee Wilson; brother Gomer W. Davies; and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 2pm in the Chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home, with Rev. Al Hicks, officiating. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arlington Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
