DAVIDS

William "Bill" Robert Davids left this world and entered Heaven to be with our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on November 8 , 20 22 at 2:27 PM – free at last and reunited with his wife Ann and 2 precious children who preceded him to Glory .

His family had the honor of being with him to the last – reaffirming their love for him, c ommitment to each other and to living each day as the Bible directs , sharing the message of God's grace and love.

Raised to honor the Lord, he instilled the same in his children, keeping God in the center of all he did – living the values God first, family second and country next . He admonish ed his children to remember who they were (his children), to whom they belonged (God) and to model behaviors / life choices accordingly! He truly "walked his talk", striving to follow in the steps of Jesus Christ and leading by example.

Bill was born in Passaic, NJ on March 2 , 1933 to William Culver Davids Jr and Eleanor Dunlap (Jessup) Davids and found h is soul mate, Elizabeth "Ann" Busselle, while attending Robert E Lee High School . They were married on June 7 , 1952. He was a proud member of the US Marine Corps (Sgt), serving as an airman in the Korean conflict. After a distinguished career with the Prudential Insurance Company of America in Jacksonville FL, he retired to the home he and Ann personally built in Keystone Heights to pursue his love of woodcraft and the life of a country gentleman.

He is survived by 4 daughters and 1 son Lynne (Don) Stradley, Dawn Whitmore, Wayne (Lynn) Davids, Carol Davids, Sara Davids; 3 grandsons , William Ryan (Deanna) Davids, Brett Taylor Stradley, Randall Robert ( Betina ) Davids; and 2 great-grand children , Weston Rodney Davids and Gracelyn Mary Davids . He is also survived by a sister, Eleanor Margaret Davids Ward, a nephew Craig (Susan) Ward and 3 nieces – Deborah (Robert) Oliynik , Gail (Mark) Davis & Robin Ward.
