Obituary of William Donnelly

William James Donnelly was born October 27, 1925 and died July 23, 2008. He retired as Ship Surveyor from Mayport Naval Base. He served in both theatres of war during World War II and a short period in the Korean conflict. He was part of the Normandy invasion and The Bikini Bomb test - Operation Crossroads in the Pacific, earning medals from both theatres. He was a member of the Moroccan Temple, The Free & Accepted Masons Temple Lodge #23 and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry 32. William is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lois Donnelly and his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Lewis Sweigart, son and daughter-in-law Michael and Dorinda Donnelly, daughter and son-in-law Colleen and Terry Neiss and daughter and son-in-law Maureen and William Waltz, Jr., 12 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
