Obituary of Dr. William Gorospe

William Cornelio Gorospe 58, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on December 20, 2014. Surrounded by family and friends, he went peacefully into the arms of our Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. William was the son of the late Cornelio and Shirley Gorospe; sibling to Douglas, Dorothy, Lisa, Charles, Maria, and Susan; loving father to Nicholas, Jason, and Maria; and grandfather to Nicholas and Otto. He was a talented musician and celebrated pianist which was an art that he practiced all his life. After obtaining his PhD in Endocrinology, he went on to do research and teach at the Medical University of South Carolina where he eventually completed medical school. Later he would finish training in Jacksonville and start his medical practice, First Coast Infectious Disease Consultants. His life will be celebrated with a funeral mass held on January 3, 2015 at Christ the King at 11:00 AM. His love, charisma and generosity will be greatly missed by all.
