Obituary of William Long

William M. Long, 83, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2009. He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather and caring friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife Iva Long of 18 wonderful years; son William E. Russell; daughter Linda Ford; grandchildren Eric, Alison, Jenna and David; great-grandchildren Matthew and Colin. He was an avid gardener and loved to cook. He was a retired Property Manager of over 30 years. Family will invite friends to Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, for a visitation on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:40 p.m.in the funeral home chapel and a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in Arlington Park Cemetery.
