Obituary of William Plemons

PLEMONS William Ernest Plemons, Jr., 73, passed away January 1, 2010. He was a native of Lenoir City, TN, and he proudly served his country in the US Navy for 34 years. Prior to his retirement he was Master Chief of The Mayport Naval Base. Mr. Plemons was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Survivors include his devoted wife of 46 years, Dorothy "Wanda" Plemons; son, Baxter Plemons (Jackie); daughter, Rebecca Swan (Aaron);granddaughters, Hannah and Haley Swan and Tiffany and Amanda Plemons; 3 brothers and 3 sisters and many friends. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Road, with Rev. Charlie Owens, officiating.
