William T. Thrower Jr. of Switzerland, FL, born February 16, 1943, will be dearly missed after his passing on November 24, 2016. Bill was a History teacher at Terry Parker High School, followed by a lengthy career as a supervisor with Ford Motor Company. He later found peace and purpose as an Associate with the Sisters of St. Joseph of St. Augustine.
He is survived by his loving wife, JoAnn Leigh Gramm; his daughter and son-in-law, Louise Thrower Standard and Wayne T. Standard; his son, William B. Thrower; his stepdaughter, Katherine Gramm; his grandchildren, Emily M. Thrower, Rita M. Thrower, and William J. Thrower; his favorite sister, Sharon Hughes; and his brothers, David (Toni) Thrower and Barry (Donna) Thrower.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Beks Thrower; and his parents, Eleanor B. and William T. Thrower.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 A.M. on November 30, 2016 at Arlington Park Cemetery, 6921 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville. The Rev. Thanh Nguyen of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate.
