William "Bill" Wilson, 38, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2023 in Jacksonville, FL. His family, friends, and community mourn the loss of an amazing soul with so much light to give to others.  Will is survived in death by his parents James and Janice Wilson, his sister Jennifer, and his partner Michael.

Will worked in personal training and group fitness for over ten years, making a lasting impact on thousands of lives from Chicago, IL, to Raleigh, NC, and finally Jacksonville, FL.  As the first Regional Training and Development Specialist for Orange Theory Fitness 904, Will trained a new generation of coaches and left a legacy of professionals dedicated to carrying on his inspirational words for years to come.

Will's community in Jacksonville feels his loss deeply.  Able to spread his wings amongst his peers, Will's expansive network of friends feel his warmth and love in their hearts.  In his words, he "never placed expectations on someone until he knew what kind of day they were having."  He was also the person who "would give you the shirt off his back, but then tell you it wasn't your color" in the most candid way possible.  A soul like his is a once-in-a-lifetime experience all were lucky to have.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 3rd from 5pm to 8pm at Tulua Bistro in Jacksonville (details below).  His family and partner ask that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Villages of Hope. The Villages of Hope is an organization Will advocated fiercely for, supporting its mission of helping women suffering in the darkest of times.
