Obituary of Willie Buck

Willie Leo Buck, 82, passed away March 9, 2010. Mr. Buck was born in Whiteville, North Carolina to Willie R. and Ethel Hewitt Buck. He enjoyed a lifelong career in the United States Postal Service, serving in various capacities including Auditor and Post Master. He was a member of Mandarin Baptist Church, The Scottish Rite, and the Masonic Lodge # 23. Mr. Buck served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Inez; daughters, Bonnie and Michele; grandchildren, Chad, Karen, and Valerie; great-grandchildren Laura, Alexzandra, and Angelina; sister, Alberta and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 11am at Mandarin Baptist Church, 11244 San Jose Blvd with Dr. Dan Davis and Dr. B.J. Hampton, officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at 2pm at Arlington Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 6-8pm in the chapel of Arlington Park Funeral Home.
