Willie James Thomas Jr(Tom), age 67, passed away on April 22,2016 at Palm Garden Nursing Home in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on November 25,1948 in Albany, Ga; in which later he was raised in Pahokee, Fl. He proudly served for 25 years in the United States Navy, retiring on June 21,1989. He also pursued to continue his education by receiving an Associate Degree in Business.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents, mother: Mattie Lee Sheeley; step-father Oklahoma Sheeley and loving wife, Willie Mae Green-Thomas.
He is survived by his two daughters: Ushanna Thomas, West Palm Beach, FL and Sharnee Thomas, Jacksonville, Fl. Two step-children: Cleveland Mack, Seattle, WA and Lavette Bellamy, Atlanta, Ga. One sister: Gail Sheeley-Jones, West Palm Beach, Fl. Ten grandchildren and Five great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be conducted at 1:00pm, Thursday May 19,2016 at Jacksonville National Cemetery
