Wilton M. Fipps, 88, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on October 26, 2020. Wilton was born in Whiteville, NC to Otto and Iva May Fipps. For 63 years he was happily married to the love of his life, Genevieve Fipps; and together they had two sons, Michael and Jeffrey Fipps.

Wilton was a very loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He served time in the US Army during the Korean War and was proud to do so. Following his service, he dedicated himself to a long-time career as a construction supervisor. His loves were his family and serving the Lord. He spent many years as a Sunday school teacher and a deacon at Terry Parker Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, trips to the Mountains and to the Carolinas.

Wilton was proceeded in death by his parents Otto and Iva; son Micheal Fipps and his brothers & sisters. He is survived by his wife Genevieve; son, Jeff; daughter in-law, Rosemary; his grandchildren, Nicole, Austin, Cyndi, Tabitha and Tina; and his great grandchildren.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Arlington Park Funeral Home.
