Yvonne S. De Witt, 68 of Screven, died Wednesday July 27, 2016 after an extended illness. The Duval County, Florida native lived in Screven for 14 years and was a life member of the VFW Post 4583 Auxiliary. She loved genealogy and was an organized saver of many collectibles. In her younger adult years, she enjoyed hunting, fishing and water skiing.
Survivors are her husband of 43 years, Ted De Witt of Screven; son, Michael John and Becky De Witt of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Dillion and Ariel De Witt of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters, Shirley Mammen of Screven and Denise Williams of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Charles Wilson Jr. of Screven; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, Monday, August 1, 2016 at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL 32211 with Rev. Donnie Mullis officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 am prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery.
